Hello, my name is Uriah Bentick, head coach of the Soccer Academy.

Over the past few years, it’s been more and more difficult to reserve field space to coach athletes who seek help to improve their skills and confidence.

Most fields are allocated to big clubs and other facilities are very expensive to rent or have restricted use or limited availability.

As a result, athletes who need an extra bit of help to improve their game run the risk of being overlooked or worse, they fall between the cracks.

As a coach and mentor, I embrace the responsibility to nurture talent, foster a love for The Beautiful Game and help players from various walks of life reach their fullest potential.

By having a dedicated gym and field, I will be able to offer extended hours of operation, accommodate different schedules and make training more accessible to more players.

The goal of this fundraiser is to raise funds to regrade a portion of land, put in new grass, install an irrigation system and pay the contractor for the equipment, material and labor needed to finish the field and gym.
