OUR GOAL
Our goal here is to build an expansive, high detail, 3D immersive game full of cool aliens and UFOs.
This will be for both desktop and mobile.
WHO WE ARE
We are a very small grassroots company, made up of students, with a passion for the UFO topic.
We have started this gofundme to support us in developing our pet project into a massive 3D immersive game all about UFOs and aliens.
As a couple of PhD students, we are busy with part-time jobs and part-time study but are super passionate and the only thing holding us back is funding.
BEYOND THE GAME
So far we have built a small website, a short side-scroller game and a demo of the 3D free-roam and mission based UFO/Alien game.
Beyond sharing that awesome UFO-core feeling, one of our main goals is to bring the topic to the masses as a current and legitimate area of interest and research.
We believe it is a genuine area for scientific inquiry and with our website we want to present the facts in a fun and engaging way.
Building this game is therefore not only a passion project, it is part of a larger goal of de-stigmatizing UFO/UAP discussion and belief. It will feed into our broader aspirations of educating and contributing to the science on the topic.
There is a vast community of UFO enthusiasts and believers out there. If you count yourself as part of that community, please consider donating to our project.
For those of you familiar with us, and for those of you that are involved in any UFO community/activities, we love you and want to share our project with you.
CURRENT LIMITATIONS
Everything we have built so far has relied on free software, paid subscriptions for vibe-coding, funding advertisement, a couple of old low powered laptops and a lot of evenings and weekends. The main limitations are time and hardware to develop the game and build our website.
USE OF FUNDS
Funds will be split equally between hardware/software and advertising
Hardware, software and subscriptions necessary for game development:
- A higher powered PC and accessories
- Software subscriptions
Advertising - We want to share the game globally and reach out to skilled people:
- Promote the game around the world
- Reach potential contributors e.g., Game streamers, artists, UFO community
- Build a following to support continued growth of the game.
One of our longer term goals is to turn this passion project into our second job but none of the Gofundme money will be spent paying ourselves a wage.
PLANNED GAME DEVELOPMENT
- Improve the detailing within the game
- Expand the game world
- Improve and expand the range of missions
- The mother ship has over 6000 available rooms. We want to develop each and every room into something interesting, playable, part of the story and to honor the UFO topic and UFO community
- Develop our own music, sound effects and more original game elements
- Include more playable characters
