We created this page to raise money to bring the K2 scholars at UP Academy Dorchester on a fall field trip for the 2015-16 school year.
Last year we were able to support a field trip to go apple picking in October. Our scholars had a blast there! Our students are currently learning about community, farms, the sequencing of events, and Fall. A visit to the Belkin Family Lookout Farm would complete our unit and give our scholars the hands-on experience of seeing how apples grow from seed to fruit, as well as getting a chance to interact with farm animals and farm staff. In order to make these incredible hands-on learning experiences possible for our scholars, we need YOUR help! The money you donate will cover the admission and transportation costs.
We appreciate any and all donations to our scholars' learning! For those who donate $25, you will receive a handwritten thank you note from a scholar. Those who donate $50+ will receive photos from one of the field trips, in addition to the thank you note.
