As anyone who has ever meet Tyler Strain will tell you- he is something extra special. Tyler is probably the most positive and loving person most of us will ever meet in our lifetimes. He's the first to step up and lend a hand even if he needs more help than that person.
I am partnered with Tyler and cover the same sales territory. We were catching a late flight back to OKC late last year when as we were boarding our flight a woman with her small child was trying to board ahead of Tyler. She was juggling her sleeping child and luggage. Tyler immediately took her bags then also asked people who were already seated if they could move to allow her and her daughter to sit together. That is just an example of who Tyler Strain is. He truly has a servant's heart!
Now Tyler needs our help!
When Tyler was in his late teens, early twenties he developed an auto-immune disorder that lead him to needing a liver transplant. Due to his diligent compliance to his health regimen, his liver is doing great, but now the anti-rejection drugs have damaged his kidneys and he now needs a renal transplant.
Many have asked how they can help. Just a few weeks prior to him being cleared for surgery, the company he works for which carries his health insurance was acquired by another company. Although his new company offers great insurance, this caused his personal insurance situation to be changed well after he met both his lifetime and yearly deductibles. Gifts come in all forms, this gives those that want to help an opportunity to fulfill an immediate need by covering prescription and medical expenses so his wife and family can focus solely on providing care for Tyler.
Being Tyler, he would never ask for anyone's help.
