What better way to start the holiday season full of eating with a fun, community run/walk/bike? November 23, 2023 is our first annual Twin Lake Turkey Trot to benefit Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. We grew a passion to start this when our two year old daughter, Elsie, had surgery here on July 17, 2023. We went in for a second opinion for stomach pain/UTI and left after several tests, procedures and surgery for intussusception occurring because of a polyp in her colon/intestines. We want to give back yearly to such a great hospital, while teaching our kids the power of giving. Elsie LOVES family walks, so let's all get together for a fun, active day of giving! We are so thankful Helen DeVos could help us and want to do anything we can to help other kids who go there in need.

Route: Start at the entrance of Blackhawk Subdivison for a walk, run, bike down that street and then around West Lake 3.1 miles - message me for our address if you are unfamiliar or don't have it. Next year, we may move location. We will have a table with donation box as well, snacks and water.
