Hola, mi nombre es Rosana, tengo 16 años y actualmente vivo en Zulia, Venezuela. Estoy recaudando fondos para mi operación de columna. Mi familia y yo no contamos con los ingresos y apreciaríamos la ayuda, de corazón.

A los 13 años fui diagnosticada con escoliosis torácica tipo II. Con el paso del tiempo mi condición se agravó, lo que llevó a que fuera remitida a neurocirugía. Después de realizarme los estudios correspondientes, me detectaron: osteofitos incipientes, dextroescoliosis dorsal moderada, abombamiento subforaminal derecho del disco intervertebral, protrusión centrolateral y central, así como cambios inflamatorios en las articulaciones interfacetarias.

La cirugía, junto con los medicamentos necesarios, tiene un costo aproximado de $20.000 dólares, una suma inalcanzable para mí y para mi familia debido a la difícil situación económica y médica de mi país.

Por eso recurro con humildad a la solidaridad de familiares, amigos y personas de buen corazón. Cada aporte, por pequeño que sea, representa un paso más hacia mi recuperación.

At the age of 13, I was diagnosed with thoracic scoliosis type II. Over time, my condition worsened, which led me to be referred to neurosurgery. After undergoing the corresponding studies, I was diagnosed with: incipient osteophytes, moderate dorsal dextroscoliosis, right subforaminal bulging of the intervertebral disc, centrolateral and central protrusion, as well as inflammatory changes in the facet joints.

The surgery, along with the necessary medications, has an approximate cost of $20,000 USD, an amount that is unattainable for me and my family due to the difficult economic and medical situation in my country.

That is why I humbly turn to the solidarity of family, friends, and kind-hearted people. Every contribution, no matter how small, represents one more step toward my recovery.
