Our wedding had to be cancelled due to our taxes being taken for arrears owed from when Billy's Ex applied for state assistance. But we are getting it all fixed I can assure you of that but we will need a lawyer to fix the bumps in the road such as a lawyer to get the arrears audited and waived all together along with getting Billy removed from a birth certificate he was placed on fraudulently all together. We have no idea how long or how much a lawyer for this will cost but it's cause a huge bump in the road since our taxes were a huge chunk of the money toward the celebration and that was gone before we even saw it due to the state taking it. The lack of support from case managers and state workers in apauling but we are hoping to get this done this year while we are hunting for a place to call our own. This will hopefully get us where we need to be mentally and emotionally for the next step of our journey. We are trying for little ones but we need the financials to be stabilized! This is what I'll call the final stretch cause if they waive arrears and let us move forward then we can get back on our feet without any issues.

Hi everyone,
We’re Rochelle (“Chelle”) and Billy — two people who’ve always tried to take care of everyone else, and now we find ourselves humbly asking for help to take care of us.
On October 31th, Billy and I will be eloping — a small, simple ceremony that means everything to us. We had hoped to make it a two-night getaway, our version of a honeymoon, but after a string of unexpected hardships, even that dream is becoming difficult to afford. We aren’t asking for luxury — just the chance to celebrate our love and start our marriage on a peaceful note before life’s next steps begin. First time passes you know that's probably not going to happen till like all anyway so we're going to pick this one of the things we can which is getting my car from the road getting Billy's license and getting a place of our own...
Do not think this is a negate of what's coming in April. April 4th 2026 we will be joining not just our families but our collective families are friends who are not blood related who have been more family than even our blood related It's going to be a big celebration of everyone coming together a ceremony a party a celebration of love happiness and life but unfortunately the elopement comes with other reasons that seem a little bit more sinister but all the more important.... It's just necessary for what needs to be done for protection purposes in regards to a stalker situation as well as how situations for not just myself but other people in my family.

Billy was recently injured at work, which caused him to miss time and fall behind on pay. At the same time, my disability case has been delayed much longer than expected, leaving us struggling to keep up with bills, repairs, and daily needs.
Between medical bills, transportation costs, my car being damaged after someone I trusted borrowed it, and ongoing safety expenses due to a personal situation, everything has piled up faster than we can handle. Billy’s working hard to get his license back and find better opportunities while I focus on recovery and mental health, but right now, we just need a small lift to stay afloat and make this milestone moment happen.
Our elopement is not just about a ceremony — it’s about stability, security, and healing.
It’s about moving forward together, rebuilding our foundation, and finally doing something for us after years of being the ones everyone else leaned on.

Has to not discourage Yes Billy and I do have a history by this year I celebrate 5 years sobriety and Billy celebrate 7, My mother is also attached to the GoFundMe so she can make sure that the funds go to exactly what they are supposed to be going to as she has been one of the biggest if not the biggest supporter besides Billy's father and mother who have been so incredibly supportive in this entire process of us finding happiness and growing it is not just people but as a couple. We are not in this alone or despite the fact that they say we don't have to repay them Billy and I would very much like to repay them for their kindness as well.
