Troy Trygstad needs a liver transplant

On the morning of May 16, 2021, Troy entered a new season of life. He woke up to a yellow tinted to his skin. Life since then has been filled with lots of questions, unknowns & what if's. There have been lots of visits to the doctor (s), blood draws, testing, imaging ... & several stays at Casa de Mekennen (hospital).

Troy needs a liver transplant ASAP!! As of July 2, 2021, he has been approved for the transplant list. Now there is the red tape & navigating the insurance.

Troy & his family are staying optimistic and positive. They truly believe in the power of prayer. They have been & continue to look to the Lord to help & guide them through this process. They sincerely appreciate All the thoughts, prayers & love they have received.

Troy & his brother Eric are self employed in construction. Troy has two daughters in college and Troy & his wife Sarah have two small children. Troy grew up in the Madison SD area and is the son of Mike & Linda Lesselyoung & Gaylon & Nancy Trygstad. Sarah grew up in the Redfield SD area & is the daughter of Kevin & Peggy Roseland.
