As you all may or may not know, my brother Mohammed was recently the victim of senseless gun violence. 

While working his job as a driver, his car was ambushed by another vehicle at which point assailants opened fire, riddling the car with bullets.

Mohammed unfortunately was shot multiple times and sustained heavy injuries. He survived after being transported to a nearby hospital and undergoing an exploratory laparotomy surgery which discovered critical injuries to multiple internal organs.

After a nearly 2 week stay in the hospital, by the mercy of Allah and with a lot of prayer and round the clock medical care, he has been discharged from the hospital.

It’s here that the battle begins…

As an uninsured patient Mohammed has been tasked with paying for the care he received in the hospital, sustaining his livelihood while not being able to work, as well as fulfilling a multitude of costly prescriptions which are necessary to ensure he continues to live.

Anyone that knows Mohammed knows that he would give his absolute last to ensure that you were taken care of. Now we, his family, are asking you to reciprocate his kindness.
