Hi! My name is Grace. I've been selected to attend a People to People Home of Leadership Forum in July 2015. There will be other students from 140 countries around the world there. We will spend a week visiting historic and important sites in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and New York City. I'm very excited to attend this forum! I'm currently a straight-A student entering middle school. I will be attending a magnet program focusing on global diversity and language. I'm currently active with many school clubs, community activities and volunteering. This past year I was very lucky that I was allowed to volunteer with a kindergarten teacher in my school and see what life is like for a teacher. I hope one day to finish college and become a kindergarten teacher.
I have been working hard to raise money for this field trip. Neighbors, friends and family have been hiring me for odd jobs to put toward my tuition fees. My family has also been planning fundraiser events to help raise money. I would greatly appreciate any donations to help me reach my goal.
