----------------------------------

I wasn't inclined to initially ask anyone for help, but my oldest brother recently spoke with me and told me not to be proud. The words continue to ring in my ears, thus...

On April 19th, 2018, my daughter Triana felt nauseous and began experiencing abdominal pains. She describes them as "that pain you get in your stomach before you vomit". She has maintained these symptoms since and remains unable to eat or drink anything orally. She currently has an NJ tube and can only be nourished by way of a feeding machine. After multiple weeks to months enduring hospital stays (including her birthday) as well as trips between Houston and Austin for specialists, she has displayed a strength I do not believe even I possess.

If any of you feel led to do so, I am asking for any help we can receive. With no clear light at the end of the tunnel with this whole ordeal my daughter is going thru, doctor's appointments with specialists both in and out of town are now a common occurrence.

This in addition to extended time stays at hospitals have exhausted my vacation pay. While FMLA secures my job, I unfortunately have no more paid time off. As such, all of this in conjunction with multiple other expenses have put me terribly behind and the bills have truly mounted. I truly appreciate everything.

SPECIFICALLY, I'm trying to raise enough money to have what is called BRAIN MAPPING done, which will enable us to confirm the exact area of her brain that is causing this dysautonomia disorder. The following steps known as "NEUROFEEDBACK" are what we believe will be the first step to getting her nervous system to finally allow her stomach to calm down. Once we can get her to begin taking in food normally, I know that we can treat the root cause to what I believe is causing this.

Prayers, likes and shares are appreciated, yes, BUT this is a specific need which we are asking help for. Even a dollar is appreciated at this juncture.

I know times are crazy for all, so trust me when I say no amount is too small at this point. If you're on my "friend list" or my wife's, please keep this in mind. I am very grateful for those who have already blessed us in other ways.
