"In the Name of Me and You"

Addiction- recovery facilities blanket our towns and cities, laying down the frontline defense against our country's opioid crisis. Anything more powerful than these recovery centers would be when our neighbors, friends, and families in these communities lock arms in true support of the healing process for these fellow human beings. In TreCosta's first film, In the Name of Me and You, we follow Lucas as he navigates through the throes of addiction, while his family and community battle with the stigma surrounding recovering addicts. Together, they have to push against the collective ignorance, of how 'we' remained faithful to the pain pills that slowly robbed our people of life.

In the Name of Me and You has been filmed in its entirety, and is asking for help completing the needs of post production and potential festival entries and marketing/distribution costs. As artists we not only believe in working diligently to supply quality story telling to our viewers, but believe that the message in our first film must be shared with as many as possible.
