Never Give Up- Supporting Tracy Scales

Tracy has always been there for her friends and family and now is our turn to support her. In September 2017, Tracy received a diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma, a type of kidney cancer that starts in the lining of small tubes in the kidney. In October 2017, she underwent a procedure to remove her right kidney, repair her liver and remove a lymph node. A year later (October 2018), her diagnosis had progressed but additional surgery wasn’t an option as the risks outweighed the survival rate. Her doctors recommended immunotherapy treatments to fight the cancer. The doctors recently discovered new growth to the tumors. Again, surgery is not an option and her doctors have recommended a medication that will attack the tumor by targeting the blood vessels and blocking the growth of new blood vessels. Throughout this journey, Tracy’s motto has always been to ‘never give up’. She plans to keep fighting and will not give up. All proceeds will go directly towards the cost of her new medication as well as other medical expenses.
