She got out with the clothes on her back and what she could grab as she was being evacuated, including her two cats. She thought she could go back to hunt for the third cat that hid from her, which she was watching for her daughter, but the firefighters wouldn't let her back in and within 15 minutes her place was engulfed in flames.
She is very hesitant to ask for any help but has so little.
Any amount would be appreciated so she can get back on her feet and find a place to live.
She is temporarily staying in a friend's guest house but needs to leave by February.
While we appreciate your consideration we are already grateful for your patronage and in no way wish for you to feel an obligation to help just because you're on our mailing list.
This is an unusual situation here in Sonoma and we appreciate how often you are asked for assistance in a variety of ways. Please do not feel any pressure to contribute but if you can, wonderful. Every little bit helps!
Thank you so much in advance,
Ronda and Brion Wise
