Tracey's Going to College Fund!

Tracey is a gifted student-athlete and first-generation college student from Philadelphia. She is very excited to attend Cedar Crest College in the fall. While she received a major scholarship and student loans, she still needs to raise $8,500 to cover the full cost of attendance. At Cedar Crest, a women's college with a 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio, Tracey plans to be a pre-med major with the long-term goal of attending medical school to become an anesthesiologist.
Tracey is a talented student who has worked extremely hard to pursue her academic goals, overcoming significant challenges to be able to attend college. She took many Advanced Placement (AP) classes, played 4 years of varsity basketball, helped raise her 5 siblings and maintained a nearly 4.0 GPA. Her accomplishments are all the more remarkable given that most students at her high school come from socio-economically disadvantaged families. Although Black women are severely under-represented as science, technology and egineering majors (STEM) in college and in professional STEM fields, Tracey is determined to charge ahead and pursue her dreams.
As her family, we're committed to helping her navigate her college journey, but we need your help. Any amount is appreciated!
