i am one of several thousand cyclists joining Sir Chris Hoy’s Tour de 4 ride on 7 September to raise funds and awareness of cancer in its many forms . We will be riding a hilly 56 Mile route from the Velodrome to and over the Campsies.
Why? I recently had successful (and unexpected!) treatment to remove cancer of the sinus - rare but serious. Thanks to the skill and care of the team at Queen Elizabeth, Glasgow I now have the all clear and can get back to enjoying my bike.
Some are less lucky, so I'm raising money for Cancer Research UK . Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little. Anything helps. Thank you for your support for me , all riders in this event, and all who have cancer or do not but are helping others to deal with it.
