Totally OARdacious - Solo Ocean Rows

MORE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TO SPACE THAN HAVE ROWED AN OCEAN SOLO

Hi my name is Victoria Jeffs and I am raising funds to challenge 2 Guinness World Records to become the OLDEST SOLO FEMALE on the planet to ROW any OCEAN - in 2023 I race in the World's Toughest Row - Atlantic and will follow that up in 2025 with a SOLO ROW around GREAT BRITAIN - a feat not yet achieved by ANY FEMALE.

To date, just 25 women have SOLO rowed any ocean, this is very much a NICHE challenge. 

 

Whilst doing these challenges I want to:

- Inspire WOMEN in SPORT

- Set new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS

- Raise over £300,000 for some amazing charities

- Highlight the POWER of adventure for our mental health

- Take the 'What's Great About This?' tour out to schools and businesses

- Prove ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE at ANY age

 

During these 2 adventures I will be raising funds for these extraordinary charities

- Samaritans - Stratford upon Avon

- Youth Adventure Trust

 

After the rowing is over, any spare kit will be sold and all proceeds will be split equally between the charities.

Also, in the run up to these challenges, I will be meeting and talking with students and businesses around the UK about the importance of movement, adventure and our mental health in my unique, inspiring and motivating talk - What's Great About This?
