Hello fb friends-
Below, please find a pic of my cousins, Sany Panko and Terri Giacomini, and a personalized thank you note.
My parents, Michael and I met with Sandy, Terri and my other cousin Carol last Sunday afternoon, and distributed the raised funds. We took the opportunity to visit their homes, as they now begin to rebuild their lives.
From the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank you all enough for your generous support and kindness, in reaching out to impact change, in a positive way.
My sincerest thanks--Tim

Hello fb friends,
As of today, you have rasied $3444, surpassing my original goal of $2500, by $944! I'm truly thankful and overwhelmed by the generosity, from so many people!
Next weekend, Michael and I are headed to Ottawa for Easter, as we will meet with my two cousins, Terri and Sandy, in order distribute the funds.
I cannot thank you enough.
Tim

A few weeks ago, I set up a gfm page, in order to support my two cousins (Terri and Sandy), that lost their homes in the category 3 tornado that affected Ottawa/Naplate.
I set an aggressive goal of $2500. As of today, we have reached $3164! I'm truly overwhelmed, and humbled by the response from so many friends, colleagues and family. I cannot thank you enough!
Sincerely,
Tim

3.19.2017, Yesterday afternoon, my Mom I were fortunate enough to tour the primary site where the tornado ran through Naplate, IL.
Sadly, 1/3 of this small town has been decimated.
Unfortuantley, no FEMA funds will be distributed, since 2/3 of Naplate did not sustain enough damage, in order to warrant support. It's interesting how our governement works.
Separately, I have had a few friends ask what gofundme takes from every dollar contributed. gfm, take 5%, with a 2.9 processing fee. From what I have researched, this a great platform: simple, straight forward and legitimate.
As an aside, I will personally, be making up the differnce, as Terri and Sandy will be receiving the full target amount. Therefore, I will be absorbing the gfm fees. Please pm me, if you have any questions.
Thank you very much for your support!

3.6.2017, As most of you are aware, my hometown of Ottawa Illinois, is located 90 miles southwest of Chicago.
On Tuesday, February 28th, a category 3 tornado ripped through Ottawa, and Naplate (a neighboring town).
Thankfully, my immediate family, and their homes are safe and sound. However, I have two cousins: Terri (LeBeau)Giacomini and Sandy Panko, and they both lost their homes. Terri's has been condemned and Sandy's will likely be condemned this week.
I have several friends that have asked ...how can they help? Hence the gofundmepage.
I have included the drone fly over of the devastation, along with pics of Sandy and Terri and their homes. If you feel so inclinded, please share on your FB page.
Your support and kindness is sincerely appreciated..
Thank you--Tim
