Tony Rincon, long time employee at Mario's Mexican Restaurant, hospitalized after being hit by a car.
On Thursday June 8, 2017 our friend Tony was hit by a car while crossing Edinger (near Springdale) while walking to his bus stop after his shift at Mario's. He suffered a broken nose and ankle, required facial stitches, has quite a large bump on the back of his head, and he's having trouble with his vision.
Tony has been working at Mario's since it opened in 1960. Many regular customers have inquired about how he's doing, asking how they might be able to help him and his family during this difficult time. So we, Friends of Tony, have set up this Go Fund Me account for those who want to make a donation.
Additionally, there is a large poster board in the lobby of the restaurant for everyone to write on and send their well wishes. Please take some time to stop by and sign it!
