Tony Faillace Needs a NEW Bike!

SHHH...IT'S A SURPRISE
I am sure that many of you, if not all, would agree that my dad, Anthony Faillace, is pretty amazing! He has been leading our team, the Saint Albert the Great Gators, in the Multiple Sclerosis City to Shore Bike Tour since its inception.
Over the years we, as a team, have raised over $600K! Amazing! We continue to compete against corporate giants, and, in my opinion, truly commit ourselves to the cause of living in a world free of MS!
We all have had a hand in the collective effort, and my dad has led and inspired each of us along the way. His emails (if you take the time to read them lol) emulate his spirit towards the ride and charitable giving. I personally find it infectious and truly believe he is one of the reasons our team has been so successful and why we have so many members return year after year.
Throughout the year, he reminds us of the importance of giving back and selflessly stays up until all hours of the night conveying this in his weekly emails! He often speaks of heart, character and unbreakable will, in both those that live with MS every day, as well as our team members who contribute their time, money and energy towards others.
What I don’t think he hears often enough is how his heart, character and unbreakable will lift the collective spirits of both our team and everyone that he meets.
Over the past few years he has had a few injuries that have affected his performance during the ride, but also in everyday life. His determination to work through them is shown year after year on the day we ride together in the MS City to Shore. Each year, he wakes up at 4am like a kid on Christmas morning not caring about the pain in his back or the fact that his bike is ancient. He takes on the ride head on. He does it because he truly loves every second of it! And he does it because he still can!
This year, I am asking the team to show their appreciation for my dad, our captain, by giving back to him. I would love to get a him a new bike, and would love your support to do so!
After hearing my dad's story, Bike Line has gratiously extended the offer to provide a fitted road bike to my dad at cost. I am hoping that we, as a team, can present the bike to him shortly before the ride.
Thank you in advance for helping make this idea come to fruition. Remember, this is a surprise so don't let him know!
I have set the goal at $1500, but the bike will most likely cost less than the goal amount. Any extra donations will go directly to the MS Society on behalf of the Saint Albert the Great Gators!
