PLEASE HELP Tony Byatt Compete in the Master's World Cycling Championships in Manchester, England ~ October 2016!

At age 60, Tony Byatt has been a competitor in the cycling arena for over forty years. Raised in the Atrisco/Central area in Albuquerque, he attended elementary school through college at UNM, he started cycle racing in 1974 and has been competing ever since.
Always an enthusiastic contributor to those interested in cycling, Byatt has helped start and fund many teams in American cycling and even piloted tandems with great success, including the US Paralympic team and the United States Association of Blind Athletes. His passions for the sport is only surpassed by his love of his wife, Leslie, of 28 years and his family.

Even while working full-time to support his family, Tony manages to fit weekly hours of training into his schedule and the training has paid off.
Some of his notable accomplishments are:
• 17 time state track champion in Florida with 55 podium finishes.
• Numerous National Championship podium finishes since 1998
• 6 top ten finishes at World Championships
• Won the New Mexico State Criterium Championship
• Former National Champion
• Current Pan American Masters Champion
• May 2016 ~ Set new National Age Group record for the Flying Lap
Byatt is now rigorously training for his first world championship title. He plans to compete in the U. S. Masters National Track Championships in Indianapolis in August 2016 and the World Master Championships in Manchester, England in October 2016.
As you can imagine, expenses for world class cycling are enormous. On top of the costs for the travel, in May, Tony had an accident that destroyed his bike wheel; he will need to replace this wheel which will cost an additional $1500.00 and the tires are $200.00 each. Total costs for both competitions and the new wheel and tires will run upwards of $10,000.

While Tony and his wife work full time, he still needs a lot of financial help if he is to represent the U.S. in England. Your generous support for this world class masters racer, who lives and trains in Cedar Crest, New Mexico, would be greatly appreciated.
With your support, Tony Byatt, a local Cedar Crest, New Mexico resident, will achieve a lifeteime dream of capturing the World Master's title. Your generous support will honor his sacrifice, hard work and efforts.
Help send Tony to England and help him achieve a lifetime dream!
Ride like the wind Tony!
