Tony Strong - Supporting Tony Perez's ALS Battle

Tony Perez is a devoted husband to Yolanda, loving father to Tony, Alex and Adrian and loyal friend to so many of us. Tony is the sort of friend that would do anything for someone in need-whether it’s cooking vast amounts of paella for charity, coaching his kids' basketball teams or just being there for his friends.

Five years ago, Tony was diagnosed with ALS after he noticed a loss of feeling in his hand. Over those five years, Tony has faced this diagnosis with courage and strength but this disease has taken its toll. Tony is now confined to a wheelchair and he can only speak using a smart device controlled by his eyes.

Despite these challenges, Tony hasn't lost his faith, his big smile or his sense of humor. All of us who have been the recipient of Tony and Yolanda’s friendship and love over the years want to give back to this amazing man and help cover the mounting medical bills.

We plan to hold a "Rockin' for Tony" Benefit at Pearl Street Warehouse on January 16, 2025 featuring the District--the band that Tony served as a founding member of the percussion section.
