Tony Brooder - Benefit Show: May 31, 6PM Rec Room

Tony’s passion for music and skateboarding naturally led him to the heart of the Buffalo hardcore scene, where he found more than just inspiration—he found lifelong friendships. In the mid to late '90s, he hit the road with Snapcase as a roadie, becoming an integral part of a community that shared his spirit and energy.

This past February, Tony was joyfully reunited with many of those old friends at the Snapcase show in Buffalo. Just weeks later, we were devastated by the news of his unexpected passing.

In the wake of this loss, plans quickly came together to honor Tony the best way we know how—with music, memories, and unity.

On May 31st from 6–10 PM, join us at Rec Room for a special benefit show in Tony’s honor featuring performances by Snapcase, Buried Alive, Garrett Klahn (of Texas Is the Reason), The Revenge Therapists, and Selfish Act. An afterparty will follow next door at Tap House.

There will be drinks, exclusive merch, and auction items available, with all proceeds going to support Tony’s beloved wife Angie and their daughters Kate & Penny.

Tony brought love, laughter, and light into every room he entered and left an unforgettable mark on everyone lucky enough to know him. Let’s come together as a community to celebrate his life, support his family, and carry forward the love he shared so freely.
