Hi, I’m Aidan, the founder and the person behind the vision for TonHil.

I’ve built TonHil Services to make emergency and essential services more affordable, while giving the people doing the work better pay and treatment.

We currently do with one-off emergency call-outs and planned plumbing and heating work. Your support will help us expand into affordable service memberships, with the aim of lowering prices as our membership grows.

This will give people another way to look after their homes. The vision reaches beyond the home, but the principles will stay the same: quality work, great pricing and real respect for everyone involved. Earning millions isn’t everything.

Why we need your support

We can’t take this further alone. Getting established means covering costs before we have enough customers and Members to sustain the business.

Donations will help fund essential operating costs, equipment and materials, and reaching new customers. This gives TonHil breathing room while we work towards funding the business through membership and service income.

What your donations will help cover

An emergency job can cost TonHil around £100 to £600, depending on the problem, the parts and materials needed, and the worker’s time.

Your support will help build the financial reserve needed to cover these costs while our membership grows, so we can support Members and pay the people doing the work properly.

Our first milestone is £10,000, towards an overall goal of £100,000.

Memberships will only go live once we’ve reached our first £10,000 funding milestone and have the resources in place to support our Members.

Whatever we raise will help determine what we can do and how quickly. I’ll share updates on the full journey, including how funding is used, our Member count, customer satisfaction and our progress.

As we grow, we want everyone involved to benefit

I’m trying to build TonHil without outside investors or the ambition of taking an oversized salary. I don’t want to be a millionaire. I want life to feel easier again, for everyone.

As membership grows, we aim to pass savings back to Members while improving service, worker pay and working conditions.

Seriously, if we can sustainably offer our full membership for £1.99 a month while looking after customers, paying workers properly and continuing to grow, we will. That’s the ambition, not a promised future price.

We help each other make things easier

The idea behind this fundraiser is the same as the business. I want TonHil to do more than earn money. I want it to spread some happiness, corny as that may sound.
