Update on Tom: Trusting God Amidst the Storms

A few months ago, our dad, Tom, discovered he needed a stent placed in his carotid artery due to severe blockage. On June 10th, he underwent what was supposed to be a routine procedure. However, shortly after, our world was shaken as dad suffered a stroke, affecting the right side of his body. The medical team acted quickly, but due to his recent procedure, typical stroke medications could not be safely administered.

Tom’s journey to recovery has begun, but it is filled with challenges. He faces unexpected medical bills, intensive therapy, and specialized care to ensure he can regain his strength and independence. During this time, Tom will be unable to work as a driver for Lyft, his primary source of income.
