We are heartbroken to share that Sarah Davison-Carey passed away on Thursday, May 15th, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She faced her illness with quiet strength and unwavering grace.

Sarah was someone so many leaned on—whether as a nurse practitioner, a friend, or a family member. She was the heart of her home and the center of her family.

We are colleagues and friends of Sarah, a deeply loved nurse practitioner, mother, and grandmother who dedicated her life to caring for others in Reading, PA.

Sarah was the primary caregiver and financial provider for a multigenerational household of seven. Her absence has left a deep emotional and financial void for her loved ones, especially the young children and grandchildren who depended on her daily.

This fundraiser is now dedicated to supporting the family she leaves behind—helping them stay together, maintain stability in their home, and navigate this difficult transition.

Even after her diagnosis in January 2025, Sarah continued working part-time through chemotherapy and radiation—determined to care for her patients and provide for her family.

Sarah’s main goal was to make sure her family is safe and together.
