Tirek Benjamin's Medical Funds

Hello Potential Donor,
I have created this page to help a very good student-athlete that is going through a trying time. During the 2014 Football season Tirek Benjamin led the Pacifica Mariners in many categories. However his season was cut short with an ACL injury. Since this is football and the players know going into the season that injuries could happen parents are encouraged to carry insurance in case something were to happen.
This is where Tirek’s story changes from most students who are injured during athletics. Tireks mom lost insurance during the season and Tirek’s father’s insurance has a ridiculous deductible of $5000. With no other option but to wait until they can afford the deductible Tirek now has gone more than two months since the injury without getting help from a doctor. I fear that the longer we wait the worse the repair will be.
Tirek has set out to try to get a job to help with the surgery but has had some issues fitting it into his day. With only one year of high school left, Tirek was studying hard to make sure his grades would match his athletic ability and help him get the scholarship he desperately needs to get to the next level and better his education.
Please help us raise money to get Tirek the surgery he needs to prevent further issues. Without the surgery Tirek will have bigger issues than just returning to the football field. If you could donate anything it would be greatly appreciated.
