Help Sally Celeste Aragon with Tino's Farewell
Donation protected
As we prepare for our loved one’s final hours, we ask for donations to help alleviate any financial concerns to give him a proper farewell.
Celestino “Tino” DeBoe started having symptoms of multiple sclerosis at the tender young age of 16 years old; at the time, he was in his high school marching band and loved playing the saxophone. I truly believe his passion for music uplifted his spirit throughout the years and gave him the strength to carry on, fighting through all his ailments of an awful debilitating disease. He loved music so much he even got a music note tatted on his neck, and oh, did he love his 90’s R&B jams!
Despite his disability, Tino was very able as the first entrepreneur in our family to open his clothing store on North Avenue catering to urban wear and hats. He was so proud of that store; anyone who knew Tino knew his generosity, as he consistently cared more about others than himself. Throughout the years, he took so much pride in his independence and friendships… he always seemed to find someone to deliver goods, and his favorite days were football Sundays, and he loved to sport his Denver Broncos gear proudly.
As an MS warrior, he proved many doctors wrong and continued fighting despite his pain by showing us his strength… even beating me at an arm wrestle this past year. He never wanted anyone to feel sorry for him, as he knew God had a greater plan. He never complained and accepted this was the life he was given and appreciated those who took time for him. He found comfort in the Lord’s promise and was baptized a few years ago. His proudest moments were when he was called “Dad.”
Even though he didn’t have much, he was always the first to want to give the most. He is a caring son/grandson, loving brother, funny nephew/cousin, great uncle, and the proudest father anyone could ask for, which is why we want to honor him in the best way possible.
Please pray for our family as we prepare for these final moments, and if you can donate anything to help us reach our goal, we sincerely appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts; God bless you.
UPDATE:
Our beloved Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin, and Friend Celestino "Tino" DeBoe passed away November 8, 2022 sometime before 6 pm. His final days were spent with so many loved ones coming to his bedside to pray for him, listen to music, share good memories, and say their "Goodbyes." I am so grateful for the outpour of love and support we have received thus far to give him a beautiful service, but we are not quite there yet. *If you can SHARE this GOFUNDME link to your social media and leave one special memory, YOU shared with Tino. We as a family would sincerely appreciate the "Sharing is Caring" concept, even if you cannot donate, as we understand these times are hard financially. The more this is shared, the more possibility we have to reach our goal.
Tino, your GOLDEN heart proved to be the strongest, lasting five days without life-supportive services, so we could be prepared for you to leave us. However, nothing could fully prepare us for the chunk of our heart that is missing since your passing. Tia Sally, I am still amazed by your strength to be there as much as you could; your grace and unconditional love carried him to hold on just a bit longer, but I know his poor body was so tired. I pray you are also at peace, trusting that all our ancestors welcomed him at those pearly gates. I have faith that his health and body have been fully restored; he is playing basketball today, laughing, joking, and dancing with his Grandmothers until we all are united again. Just found out he was a registered donor and will help save lives with that decision. Does not surprise me; that's how generous you proved to be in this world- YOU WOULD GIVE YOUR ALL, even if that meant you had nothing.
We would like to THANK everyone that has contributed; GOD BLESS YOU; we LOVE and APPRECIATE your contribution. We could not do this without YOU; please continue lifting us up in prayer during this difficult time.
*The details on his FINAL SERVICES will also be updated here.
Please Note: Gofundme takes approximately 3% of the total donation for processing fees but asks for donations to offset that; you can decide before submitting by moving the scale up or down if you want to tip to "offset" your donation. If you don't, no worries; they take care of it in the end. This is the easiest and quickest way to help out virtually, but if you want to contact the family to give direct cash, anything helps.
