Tim's Fight Against Cancer

Hello Everyone,

Our dad, Tim Sterling was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to his liver, lungs, and possibly other organs. He started an aggressive 6 month chemotherapy treatment, and we’ll get an update on the progress in September. We are trying to stay optimistic, and the doctors are confident that chemotherapy will work. We're writing to ask that you please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

At the age of 58, he has a lot to live for including his youngest daughter Bianca who is entering her senior year of high school. His other daughter Jennifer and his son Josh made him a very proud grandpa with two charming 1 year old grandsons. Also, his amazing wife Sandra who is his strength, never missing a beat to make him happy. She will be right by his side through it all.

Even though he has insurance, his $5,000 deductible was already met and he still needs several scans that are not covered by his insurance. The biggest financial fear is the loss of income for our dad and also Sandra who will be the primary care taker during this battle. We, as his children saw this as an opportunity to set up this fundraiser to help our dad as much as we can.

Our dad is a wonderful guy, hard working with a heart of gold, and he is always willing to help when he can. He is a wonderful father, grandfather, and best friend to us all. He is a fighter, and we know he will overcome this.

We know the power of prayer can work miracles, and we are asking you to please keep him and our family in your thoughts and prayers. If you can donate, every dollar will go to his fight against cancer. Your support will help keep him focused on healing and Sandra focused on helping him get better.
