My name's Tim Hildebrand, and I'm a Canadian actor with ambitions in the beautiful state of California.  I got my MFA in Burbank and spent a year auditioning
and it went well...you can read about my past two years here: www.timhildebrand.com.  Most importantly though, after 2 years in LA I finally landed a solid manager from a reputable company.  Her and her agency's effort expended thus far to get me "into the room", has been incredible, and it's paying off.  It's hard to explain how moving it is to have someone believe in you, when you've been trying to make it work on your own for so long.  My OPT visa has come to an end, and the visas to replace it were just too  prohibitively expensive.  100% of the money raised by this campaign is going to the procurement of an O-1 "artists visa", an employment visa that frees me to make a living in the States both as an actor and a teacher.

I'm returning to Canada to regroup, make some money and begin gathering  support materials for the application process.  I want badly to be back in the U.S. by September, 2017, to build  towards the 2018 pilot season.  To do that I'll need to apply by July 15.
