Tiffany's Last Wishes/Bucket List.
Tiffany has been fighting acute myeloid leukaemia with a gene mutation FLT 3. since the 11th April 2018 and she is still fighting to this day and will continue to fight as long as she can, when she was diagnosed in april 2018 she had 2 rounds of intense chemotherapy with 1 month between both which put her in remission and then later in 2018 had a allogeneic stem cell transplant which she had a awfully hard time she said "it's the hardest thing she has ever had to face". Then treatment wise she had many DLI infusions (donor lymphocyte infusions/ top up of stem cells) and also had a tablet she had to take which was imported to Addenbrookes from the america. She has been to hell and back and faced all types of fears and phobias she already had and also lots of fears and phobias she didn't even know existed. Unfortunately in september 2019 she has been told that she had relapsed and that all previous treatment hadn't worked. She then had more intense chemotherapy by the end of the week and also had a long 8 weeks in hospital extremely poorly and the doctors still to this day dont know what it was making her poorly. During them 8 weeks docotrs done some tests and scans etc and one thing that showed up is her liver was very inflamed. Doctors a week later after discharged from the 8 weeks opted for tiffany to have a liver biopsy where that take a couple of samples of Tiffany's liver and see what is going on. The results of the liver biopsy showed that Tiffany's liver is "NECROTIZING GRANULOMATOUS INFLAMMATION" this means dying flesh or dead flesh so basically tiffany has some/all her liver dying. Tiffany is now on medication to help with the liver but is still awaiting to see a liver consultant to see what the plan is next for her liver. Also in them 8 weeks she had a bone marrow biopsy which the results showed 4% of leukemia in Tiffany's body. then 4 months later in january 2020 tiffany had another intense chemotherapy which knocked her for six. When she had a bone marrow biopsy during the intense chemotherapy "flag" she had to have a bone marrow biopsy that the results showed that she had 39% leukemia in her body which ment that the leukemia in Tiffany's body had grown about 10% every month for the 4 months where she had no treatment. The chemotherapy "flag"made her leukemia go down to 10-12% as the most recent bone marrow show that the 10-12% was the results of the amount of leukaemia in Tiffany's body currently. Tiffany had to go to Addenbrookes on thursday 6th February 2020 where her consultant has told her that her treatment now is to 'prolong her life rather than cure her cancer'. This means Tiffany's leukaemia is NOT CURATIVE this is due to the fact that her leukaemia is "CHEMOTHERAPY RESISTANT". Tiffany has opted to continue having certain treatment like having another allogeneic stem cell transplant where she will be in and out of hospital for approxmatly 6 months, and then once she relapses from that she will be having DLI (donor lymphocyte infusion) and a injections called 'AZA'just to prolong her life and then make her as comfortable as possible. Everything tiffany has faced, she has always had a smile on her face and has faced it like a true warrior. Alot of people think as tiffany as an inspiration and a strong warrior. Tiffany during her journey has done as much as she can to help other also she has plenty of cancer friends who she has supported and guided and reassured through there journeys while she has been facing her own. She has also a founder of a chariety called cancer warriors unite who make cancer packs for poorly patients and take then to the hospital and gives them out personally herself with the help of her mum or dad. She also is in the process of writing a blog to raise and make awareness of acute myeloid leukaemia.
