Tiffany's Medical Expenses

While working in New Zealand for a year, Tiffany's doctor sent her home to Canada for immediate medical care. We are shocked that she's been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Since she hopes to have healthy children some day, it's a blessing that her ova could be protected in advance of cancer treatments. Chemo started on Friday.
Thankfully, Tiffany has been given some donated drugs and a compassionate discount. She has applied to the Trillium Drug Program for drugs not covered by OHIP. She has no health insurance plan and cannot be claimed as a dependant. We were surprised to learn that there are so many costs that no insurance plan will cover.
Meanwhile, Tiffany is nauseous, weak, losing hair, can barely walk and sleeps most of the time.
