Eli and Alice's Fundraiser - 3 is the magic number!

Hello my name is Eli. I am 8 years old and I am part of a brilliant Scout Group - 2nd Acomb St. Stephens. I started in Squirrels when I was 4 and was one of the first Squirrels in the group.

I moved up to Beavers when I was 6, and have recently moved into Cubs. Scouts is one of my favourite clubs to be a part of and I have learned so much and done lots of fun activities.

I have set up this gofundme for my Scouts group as a way to say thankyou to the leaders and to improve the facilities we use for our meet ups.

So here's how my 2025 fundraising is going to go...

I have set myself three challenges across the year...

1. Scafell Pike Mountain climb (I have already climbed Snowdon aged 6, and Ben Nevis aged 7) so this year, aged 8 I want to complete the National Three Peaks by doing the final mountain. This will be in May. COMPLETED!

2. Ripon Triathlon- 200m open water swim, 2000m bike ride, 1200m run. This will be in July. COMPLETED!

3. Sticking with the theme of 'three', I want to attempt the Three Yorkshire Peaks in September, just after I turn 9.

All money raised from my challenges goes directly to 2nd Acomb Scout Group for them to use to improve 'the hut' facilities, and provide more opportunities for all the young people who attend the groups across Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. I am working towards raising a total of £1000.
