Thomas W Libbey

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Thomas ‘Tom’ William Libbey, age 59. To have known Tom is to have known security, comfort, safety, and the biggest presence in any room. Tom is survived by his wife Christine, children Thomas and Nicole, dog Blaze and countless family members through blood, connection, and community.

Tom Libbey is without a doubt the hardest working man I have ever known. Building a career as a Master HVAC Plumber over his 59 years of life, Tom has worked tirelessly to provide and support for his family, never once complaining about 12 hour workdays or wearing himself thin to make sure we were all taken care of.

It is with greater sadness to consider a reality in which this kind, caring soul and his grieving family are scrambling to make ends meet to honor his life and legacy.

My father was a man who refused to ask for help, knowing he could make things work on his own no matter how great the challenge this brought on. He was a man who made sure to help anyone and everyone in his path, and we cannot even fathom the amount of lives he has touched in this way.

As we begin to think about a physical life without him, we reach out to the people who knew him for assistance.
