My Thirsty Friends,
I have great news. The success of my conversion video has opened many doors for us including speaking engagements around the country and the opportunity to address hundreds of TOB lovers in Philadelphia at the upcoming Theology of the Body Congress.
As a benefit of our sponsoring the Congress they will be showing my conversion video to the audience and have asked me to introduce Christopher West's keynote address! I will also have five minutes after the video to present Thirsting for Truth and the Young Adult Program to the audience. This will be huge exposure for our organization and our mission! We will also have an exhibit table where we will sell and distribute Thirsting for Truth material.
We need your help to make this happen. The TOB Congress sponsorship is costing us $3500 plus travel. We are also looking to raise an additional $1300 to incorporate Thirsting for Truth as a non-profit and apply for 501c3 status. The rest of the money will help us purchase equipment, T-shirts, print pamphlets, and travel to bring Thirsting for Truth to parishes around the country. Our goal is to raise $5,000 before the Congress. That's an ambitious goal but I believe it's possible.
We are facing an increasing demand for our ministry and we are working hard to deliver. We are developing a new Young Adult parish program, writing new articles and producing new videos and I plan to turn our story into a book. Young people are Thirsting for the Truth about love, sex, relationships and chastity. You're donation will help us bring that Truth to them and promote a society of better marriages and stronger families!
Every dollar counts. You can give $1, $5, $20 or whatever you want. You can also choose to give a low amount and then check the box at the bottom to have that monthly donation recur each month!
