Help Us Build The Working Danes Ranch

A Sanctuary for Giant Breeds, Second Chances, and Lifelong Love

Every dog deserves a chance.

Unfortunately, many large and giant breed dogs—especially Great Danes, Mastiffs, Saint Bernards, and other powerful breeds—are often misunderstood, surrendered, neglected, or abandoned simply because owners are unprepared for their size, training needs, or medical care.

That’s why we are creating The Working Danes Ranch, a nonprofit sanctuary dedicated to giving these incredible dogs a second chance at life.

Our mission is simple:

Rescue. Rehabilitate. Educate. Rehome.

We believe that most dogs labeled as “difficult,” “untrainable,” or “too much to handle” are often simply dogs that have never been given the proper guidance, structure, and love they deserve.

At The Working Danes Ranch, dogs will receive:

Safe and spacious living environments

Professional training and behavioral guidance

Veterinary care and wellness programs

Proper nutrition and exercise

Socialization and confidence-building

Rehabilitation for neglected and abused dogs

Lifetime sanctuary care for dogs that cannot be rehomed

Education and support for owners struggling with large-breed challenges

Our vision extends beyond rescue.

We are building a place where giant breed dogs can thrive on acres of land designed specifically for their needs—a place where they can run, learn, heal, and simply be dogs.

We also plan to offer educational programs that help owners better understand large-breed behavior, reducing the number of dogs surrendered to shelters in the first place.

Why We Need Your Help

Building a sanctuary of this size requires significant resources, including:

* Land acquisition

* Safe fencing and outdoor play areas

* Kennels and shelter facilities

* Veterinary equipment and medical care

* Training facilities

* Transportation and rescue operations

* Food and daily care supplies

* Staffing and volunteer programs

Every donation, regardless of size, helps us move one step closer to opening our doors and changing the lives of dogs that need us most.

Our Promise

We are committed to operating with compassion, transparency, and accountability. As we grow, every contribution will directly support the development and care of the dogs entrusted to us.

Together, we can create a future where no giant breed dog is abandoned because it is “too much.”

Together, we can build a place where misunderstood dogs become beloved companions.

Together, we can give them the second chance they deserve.
