Hello, my name is Dawn.
I'm trying to raise as much money as I can for the Bubble Unit at Newcatle Great North Childrens Hospital. This unit is treating my best friends 10 year old daughter. She is a very positive and brave little girl who was born with a rare genetic condition than affects her immune system. It has now come to the point that she needs a bone marrow transplant and she will be on this bubble unit for at least 5 months.
Being the kind and selfless little girl she is, she would like to repay the fabulous team on her ward for their dedication and specialised care they're giving to make her well.
Family, friends and colleagues of her parents are all playing their part in trying to raise money by doing numerous fundraising and sponsored events. This is in the hope that it will also help other children who are going through very challenging times.
Every penny will be greatly recieved and I will make sure it all goes to this very special unit close to her heart.
