Hi, my name is Anysia, I am 26, and I am about to start my fourth year of teaching middle school math.

This is not something I would ever expect myself to do, but just recently, my father passed away due to an unforseen heart attack. He was an amazing man who did nothing but provide for all those he loved. He was loyal, generous, hard-working, and funny. He was the most intelligent man I've ever known, and the thing he loved most in this world was his family (me, my sister, and my mom).

As far back as I can remember, he never had a lot of money, but he always made sure my sister and I had food in our bellies, a roof over our heads, and clothing/supplies for school.  A few days prior to my father's death, my mom went into the hospital for full hip replacement surgery. She has not been working, but even if she had been, my dad was the sole provider for my mom and sister. He paid for the rent, the food, our college degrees, and the phones.

Now, I have always had difficulties asking for money for myself, but this time, it is for my mom and sister. Although my mom remains hopeful that God will provide, I am worried they will be homeless, as there is no longer a reliable income. Of course I can help in some ways, but as their rent is $1000, I can only help so much (I have a "teacher salary"). Any money that is raised via this account will be put directly to their rent while our family figures out what's next. Our church family has been helping SO MUCH with food, so I am not worried about that, but my dad would not rest easy knowing his family is no longer living comfortably in a home.

I am not asking for much, just enough to help with two months rent -- enough to give us time to figure out where they can go, or what they can do. I know God will continue to bless us during our time of need, but I also know he expects us to work for our bounty -- it is not simply given. I do not believe in handouts, nor will I ever ask for one. With that being said, as I am a teacher (specifically math), I am willing to tutor during the remaining summer month (July) as much as I can. It is the least I can do.

Furthermore, as a math teacher, I have already calculated that if 400 people donate $5 to my family, we will reach our goal.

For all those who have already helped the Weicht family, whether through prayers, food, or positive vibes, I am beyond grateful for your kindess. For all those who plan to give more to us... I am speechless.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
