On this voyage they will be using poetry as a catalyst to shine a light on issues surrounding mental health, coping with stressors, overcoming your past, and “Unpacking” the issues that many are struggling with.
This is expedition is what many come to know as “The Unpacking Tour!”
They will be touching down in Texas, Colorado, Seattle, Utah, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, and Florida (A few more are currently pending, and we are currently still booking shows).
These individuals do not want you to look at this campaign as strictly a means to fund a tour, but also as an investment into the future of these young wordsmiths.
These poets are working on creating new audio projects, new collections of poetry, and want to not only reach new ears all across the country – but also be able to reinvest in themselves along this journey.
These funds will help to:
-Fund lodging for these writers on their journey.
-Create extra funds for food while they are traveling
(Eating local is a love of both of these artists)
-Pay for the nights where these artists aren’t doing shows, yet looking for inspiration in new cities around them.
-Create a cushion for any car troubles that might arise
-Help these artists invest in new projects after you help them to gain more inspiration than ever.
-Keep these artists putting their hours into creating, outreach, and doing what many of you know them for – positive work, for a positive impact.
But we don’t want you to look at this as a “Hand Out”; So we have turned this campaign into a merchandise auction, an opportunity for you to take as much from the artist as you desire, while also giving in return.
We are selling hoodies, t-shirts, stickers, books, cd’s, framed pictures, and also our time/services.
Bring us to work,
Bring us to your children’s school,
Have us speak on your lunch break,
Rock a house show in your city,
Or feel free to pick a package that has all the items you desire!
And those who contribute will have access to some great exclusive content, keeping you a part of our journey every step of the way!
We will also be doing a drawing some really cool items
(For example: massages, a record player, a vinyl cleaner) for every person that donates a minimum of $10.
Just a heads up, we will be shipping our orders once/twice a month.
