For those of you who don't know the Shelley Family, they have been Pastors for over 30 years.  Unfortunately, Paul had an eye/brain stroke (his blood pressure was 285/160) in Oct. 2015.  Because of Paul's physical health, it was determined they would need to resign from pastoring.  In the midst of this career and life change, he has been able to work very little. The doctors have told him it will take approximately a year for him to get "back on his feet".

Paul and their youngest son started a business before the stroke.  However, since Paul's ability to work is very limited now, they have not been able to grow the business as planned.  Consequently, bills have gone unpaid, utilities are next to be shut off, and they are a step away from losing their vehicles.

The Shelley's also have a daughter who has epilepsy and they have not been able to keep up with her doctor appointments or the medicines that she needs.  In addition to those medicines,  Paul and their daughter have special dietary needs, but these needs have fallen by the wayside as well.  Because Tammy needs to be home with their daughter and Paul's condition allows him very little capability to caregive, Tammy works from home to contribute to finances. 

At this time, housing is taken care of, but they are in need of help.  Paul and Tammy specifically need help with insurances, car payments and car repairs (one car isn't working), food, gas, utilities, and general living expenses.

They are SO grateful to God for keeping Paul here with them and for everything they have.  In the meantime, some extra help is what they truly need until they can get "back on their feet".  Their hope is that "that" time will come very soon.  Realistically,  they expect another 6 months before they see positive changes in Paul's physical condition.
