Support Angel Azoulay's Thesis Film: The Richards

Greetings!

My name is Angel Azoulay and I am a senior at Hofstra University, majoring in film studies and production. I am thrilled to announce my fundraising campaign for my upcoming short film and senior thesis: The Richards!

The last six months have been dedicated to developing the story behind The Richards. In the new year, I will bring the script to the screen as its director alongside an amazing cast and crew. It feels surreal to finally kick off the project I have been looking forward to my entire college career and am eager to take full advantage of this opportunity.

The Richards (a working title), written by Efe Unuigbe, focuses on a couple who reaches their breaking point as they try to hide their problems from the eyes of their close-knit suburban community. A dramatization of a relationship fighting to keep their private life from the public.

Any contribution is extremely appreciated and will contribute to making The Richards come to life, including the production costs, casting, locations, catering, travel costs, equipment rentals, and festival submissions. With a budget of $5,000, I hope to raise a generous amount through crowdfunding to make this production of the highest quality. As a thank you for your help, all donors will receive a special thanks in the film's end credits! I completely understand if financial help is not a possibility, but would still greatly encourage passing the word around.

As my senior capstone, finishing The Richards symbolizes the completion of my Bachelor’s degree at Hofstra University and my success as a graduate filmmaker.
