The Flag is a short fictional film based on a real life experience was written by Dave Alspach who served during the Vietnam War in US Army Special Forces.  It's a story about a Veteran having to deal with a protester attempting to burn the American Flag. 
   The filming of the Flag was a labor of love and the majority of the crew were young military veterans from the Los Angeles Film School who donated their time to make the project. 
   The Flag has been accepted by the GI Film Festival in Wash DC and will be screened during the  week of May 18-24. 
   Recently Dave Alspach was totally disabled from a negative reaction to Statin drug and admitted to a hospital. He has fought his way back and is in rehab walking with a cane. His goal is to make a full recovery and to walk around  Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans to share the story of The Flag.
   Our goal is to send Dave to Wash DC to complete the journey he started many years ago. 
   We are appealing to our friends and supporters to support the key team members of Dave Alspach Military Veteran/Writer/Executive Producer/ Actor and George Ohan Military Veteran/Producer, and John Duffy  Director by supporting us in attending the GI Film Festival.
