Police brutality is a common occurrence, but it is an outcome composed of many perspectives. The best outcomes take in a diverse set of perspectives. Fortunately, Virtual Reality (VR) allows us to see and experience many perspectives, which can help us better understand how we can all change for the better.
We are producing a three-part VR film series that gives the viewer three perspectives on the same event, a young black teen heading to a high school graduation party to celebrate graduating with honors. This story will be told through the eyes of the mother, the police officer, and the son. Our goal with this film to show how many can be affected by these events and to continue the conversation on this growing issue.
We need your help. Your donation will directly help us produce this VR film series. Proceeds will go towards tools required for the production of this film: Insta360 camera, editing software, props, etc. If we exceed our goal, donations will be used to extend the series, and expand our publication options. In addition to directly helping this cause, you will receive the following for your donation tier. We thank you in advance!
$10.00 - you will be included within the film credits.
$50.00 - you will get a poster signed by the entire cast.
$100.00 - you get a skype call with the cast.
$200.00 - you will receive a Google Cardboard VR headset, so you can experience and share with others.
Note: Higher reward tiers receive all items in the lower tiers. All physical rewards are limited to the US. Google Cardboard VS headset does not include phone.
