The Doors of the Patrick Baker Library at Browne Education Campus on April 6, 2018! Mr. Baker served as Brown's s Librarian from 2014-2017. During his tenure, the library evolved into a warm, welcoming environment and created an atmosphere of helpfulness, positivity, and kindness designation for both students and staff. Mr. Baker incorporated his core values of seeing every person as a gift, treating them with mutual respect and challenging others to take the same just stand. He worked endlessly to reach every child through books--purposeful teaching with high expectations for all learners in a stimulating and secure learning center better know as the "Library"
Mr. Baker brought 14 years of work experience involving diverse communities in New York City, Dallas, Oklahoma City, and D.C. that provided him with an outstanding foundation for working with children by providing information, resources, and referrals to other agencies and developing literacy-related partnerships with local community service providers and businesses.
Additionally, over $3,000 college book scholarships have been rewarded to the 2018 and 2019 8th Graders of Browne Education Campus. Your financial support continues the legacy of Mr. Baker.
