We write this message to ask for your support for our teammate and friend, Gilbert (Gil) Amoro. Through unfortunate circumstances, Gil is facing homelessness and needs our help.

Our goal is to raise $24,000 (approximately $2,000 per month for one year). Gil has pledged to make sure whatever gifts are gathered are used to find housing and a job while he gets back on his feet. Gil is the sole beneficiary of this GoFundMe. Any gifts given through this page will automatically be transferred directly to Gil.

We understand that not everyone can contribute the same, but every contribution helps. Whether it's a one-time gift, a monthly gift, or sharing the link with others, your support can make a difference in Gil's life. Together, we can help him get through this challenging time with dignity and care.

As many of you know, we recently lost a great friend and pillar of our community, Roger Dunphy. Roger was not just a teammate of Gil's, he was our captain, always exemplifying what it meant to be a compassionate teammate, a loyal friend, and someone who gave of himself without hesitation. To honor Roger's legacy of kindness, giving, and supporting others, we ask that we come together to support Gil.

With the hopeful success of this outreach, and honoring Roger's legacy, perhaps this could be the beginning of something greater. Our community has always been strong, and with your help, we can continue to show that strength by caring for one another.
