Support For Kelly and Karen

A few months ago, Kelly was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments for awhile now. At the time, his wife Karen was off work on disability as well. They have been finding it hard to be able to make ends meet. Due to their overwhelming love for family, friends, and just people overall, they didn't want to burden others by asking for help of any kind. As time went by, the journey proved more difficult than they both could handle on their own. As I talk to them and visit them from time to time, I realize that sometimes as a friend, you just need to step up and just show your unconditional love instead of just speaking it.

Kelly and Karen are grandparents to some pretty amazing grandkids. They also have 3 pugs currently living at home with them.


I thank God for allowing these two special people into my life. They have shown me what it's like to really be loved uncondionally for who I am. I didn't have to be ashamed of who I was or where I had been. They accepted me just as I was. They showed me "Jesus."

My name is Kia, and I am Kelly & Karen's friend. I am doing this page as a way to help my friends financially through this difficult season in their life. Kelly doesn't have a stable job at the moment, and Karen is only able to work part time.

All the donations will go towards supporting medical bills for Kelly's chemotherapy treatments/doctor visits as well as to help pay for day to day expenses such as food and bills.
