THE POROSITY OF BEING

The porosity of being is a student-led project organized by students from MBA in Arts and Cultural Management at IESA and the Paris School of Business. This exhibition will put forth an effort to explore the origins of life, using the concept of cosmogony as a starting point, and to provide an opportunity to fundamentally reconsider our existence and identity.

The object of this exhibition is to raise questions about the essence of what shapes humanity, integrating theories of myths and technologies, in the effort to deliver and discuss how to find our own identities and deal with internal conflicts. The Porosity of Being reflects this idea, attempting to depict existence as fluid, constantly moving, seeking, changing, and alive. Just as moisture seeks balance, beings continuously seek their place. Just as each drop merges with others, beings yearn for connection.

In addition to the exhibition, a series of activities have also been designed. We believe this exhibition will provide knowledge, tell stories, and provoke thought, assisting the younger generation in discovering their identities and creating their own dream life.

We humbly ask our audience to contribute what they are able in order to make this exhibition happen. Among other exhibition costs, contributions will fund artists fees, installation costs, and venue expenses. We would be really grateful for your help to make this exhibition come true, and we also welcome any suggestions from you.
