The Fight of Wil’s Life

As most of you know by now, our dear Wilhelmina Ramirez is in the midst of a lengthy battle with cancer. Anyone who knows Wil knows that she has the greatest smile, the most infectious laugh, and the most loving heart. Wil welcomes everyone with open arms and adds joy to the lives of anyone who crosses her path.

 

Wil’s cancer has now reached Stage 4 and has spread throughout much of her body, including her bones, liver, and spine, preventing her from being able to work or travel. Her chemotherapy and medications, hospital stays, and other necessary expenses have led to financial hardships, causing Wil additional stressors when she should be focusing on her health.

 

Wil is literally fighting every single day to stay alive and find the joy with which she has exhibited and shared with others throughout her life; and I, as I’m sure many of you will agree, want her to be able to focus on that as she battles this horrible disease. She took me under her wing when we first met and has impacted my life in only positive ways.
