The Founders Comic Book Project for Tony Whalen
Bridgewater resident Tony Whalen, passed away from COVID-19 in March 2020. Tony Whalen was a father of two young children, a husband, a friend, and a brother. He was the first to lend a hand, cheer you on, and rally in time of need. In his spare time, he LOVED comic books, Star Trek, movies, spending time with his family and friends, volunteering, and much more.
His legacy lives on in everyone that had the privilege of knowing him. Tony had a love for comic books. He frequently visited comic book
stores and comic cons with his family. To memorialize our beloved friend, we are producing a comic book to honor Tony and all those the world has lost to COVID-19. One of Tony's close friends has written The Founders as a tribute to Tony and the legacy he leaves behind as well as the others who have passed away.
Ian Dorian, a visual and graphic artist, is leading the creation of the comic. Ian has created stories and characters in the hero and animation genre. Some of the most famous artists today work alongside him on his various creations. His clients include 20th Century Fox, Marvel
Productions, Valiant and others. Ian has agreed to design the comic and make this dream a reality!
A donor has given $10,000 to start the project, but we need YOUR assistance!
We are seeking a goal of $12,000 to finish this project! This "one shot" issue will be limited! We can't wait for the day we can deliver this
comic book to his wife, his children, and to you all!
Ian has graciously offered to give renderings of this comic or another to those who give over $100 and more.
