If you're here, you knew Scott. You are most likely a student or co-worker of his. You know how infectious his passion and enthusiasm for cinema was and how it infused his lectures with indescribable energy so that you could almost hear the buzz of electricity that was animating his fast-talking style. Even at 9 am, Scott seemed to have been up for hours, and his mere presence (even online!) was like a jolt of caffeine. If I had one dollar for every student over the ten years we taught together that told me how much they loved Scott and how impactful his class was on their career, I could retire.
